Our Vision
The Loft Ballet Company was created with a vision to build a new home for classical ballet in Ireland — one that brings together artistic ambition, professional standards and meaningful opportunities for dancers.
Based in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, we aim to develop a company where talented dancers can continue to train, perform and grow within a supportive yet professionally driven environment.
Our work is rooted in classical ballet while remaining open to new ideas, new audiences and new ways of presenting dance. Through performances of classical repertoire alongside contemporary and original works, we want to create productions that are both artistically ambitious and accessible to the wider community.
At the heart of our vision is opportunity. We want to create a pathway for dancers to gain valuable company and stage experience, develop as artists and work towards professional performance opportunities in Ireland.
As the company grows, our long-term ambition is to expand our performance programme, collaborate with artists and organisations, and build the financial support necessary to provide increasing numbers of paid opportunities for dancers and creative professionals.
We are building something for the future: a sustainable ballet company with its own identity, its own community and a lasting place within Ireland’s performing arts landscape.

We provide a professional-minded company environment where dancers can train consistently, work with experienced artists, develop through the rehearsal and production process, and perform both classical repertoire and new works.
